Salary: up to £16,753

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Taste for Life brand, which is a growing and ambitious catering provider. You will be required to work across two of our sites to support the Manager in providing outstanding service to our customers

You will deliver a first class experience to café users, ensuring quality food (some food preparation is required) and drink is served promptly and politely, You may also be asked to cover events, such as parties, conferences or meetings.

The successful candidate will have a catering background and, in the absence of the Manager, will lead the team so ideally have experience in this area too. Keen to provide an excellent service, you’ll have good knowledge in food hygiene standards and maintain a safe environment for customers.

You’ll provide a warm welcome to café users and help support our aim to encourage healthy eating. Trusted and honest, you’ll take care with all aspects of cash and card handling, and you’ll be polite and efficient under pressure. You will mentor new employees and assist the Manager to maintain standards through the training and development of existing staff. Assisting in preparing staff rotas and monitoring wastage will also be part of your duties.

Hours of work are 37 per week, Rota is 5 days out of 7 including a share of weekends and bank holidays , hours generally between 8am and 8pm with occasional later evening work.
