Human Factors Engineer -Human Error Analysis
A Human Factors Engineer is required to work on a 6 month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Cumbria.
Overview of the Human Factors Engineer contract roleHuman Factors input to Submarine Platform and Site Safety Cases. The job will involve liaising with various internal BAE stakeholders associated with Submarine and Site Safety Cases, ensure adequate consideration of human performance and human reliability in the conduct of safety critical tasks.
Key skills required for the Human Factors Engineer
Ideally have either a Human Factors/Ergonomics and/or Safety related qualification.Should have experience of working on Safety Cases. Ideally experience with site licensing regulations, such as Nuclear Site Licenses and/or COMAH regulations. Specifically addressing human factors / human reliability analysis of safety critical tasks.
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
