Warehouse Operative

£17,000 per annum, working 8-5pm Monday - Friday, free parking onsite - You just must have a full UK driving licence, a Forklift licence or experience and warehouse experience.

A well established, friendly, local company are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their current team of 7 staff, you role will be mainly working within the warehouse picking and packing orders but will be required on a daily basis to drive to a local distribution firm to collect additional pallets.

Full training on the job will be given, you will also be trained on the in-house Counterbalance and Bendi forklifts too - although previous experience is required.

The main duties will include, but not be limited to:
Loading and unloading lorry`s using electric, diesel and high reach forklift trucks.
Checking deliveries and putting stock away, entering goods receipt information into company IT system.
Replenishing stock pickface locations from bulk stock.
Maintaining stock availability, including driving company vehicle to collect stock from offsite locations and updating computer stock records.
Maintaining a clean, tidy and hazard free warehouse environment.
To pick and pack Customers orders within designated time frame and to Customer and company standards.
Raising Works Orders and liaising with pre-packing and warehouse staff to fulfil stock shortages, updating computer stock records
