Tutor in Warehousing (Teacher, Trainer, Assessor)

Our Client is a leading employment support and training services company, helping people to transform their lives and businesses through work, training, education and financial advice. They help people move into work by enabling them to gain the skills they need to make them employable, providing them with real work experience or helping them onto a traineeship or apprenticeship.

They are looking to appoint a Tutor in Warehousing at their Manchester Academy on a permanent, full time basis. 

Within the role you will deliver innovative, engaging and motivational learning sessions to your learners, developing their skills, knowledge and behaviours and supporting them with their longer goals and career aspirations. Delivering a range of core courses to support learners develop Employability and Personal Social Development skills to move them nearer to the local labour market, you will support them into secure sustainable work.

They are looking for someone who has a Level 4 Teaching Qualification and Functional Skills Level 2. With industry experience in Warehousing and experience of working with the unemployed, you will ideally have an IAG qualification, but this is not essential.

Candidates will be able to display a wide range of teaching methods to engage learners from all ages, abilities and backgrounds, including those with significant barriers to employment and training. A team player, you will have a flexible and innovative approach to work.

Due to the nature of the role a DBS check is required.
