A vacancy has arisen in our busy manufacturing facility for an experienced fitter to join our team near Wareham.
If you have practical skills and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done, this may be the job for you!
Experience Required
Our roles are varied and suit people from varied backgrounds.
It would be advantageous if you already have some experience in the building/fitting out of leisure vehicles, caravans or boats or even have experience in another similar skills based industry such as cabinet making, kitchen or shop fitting but this is not critical.
Ideally candidates would be good with their hands and a keen eye for detail as well as an interest in woodwork or furniture fitting.
Below are some examples of the necessary skills required:
• Practical hands-on experience.
• Woodworking or similar professional/expert DIY standard
• Good problem solving skills
• Well organised with good attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Ability to cope under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Able to work accurately at a good speed.
Only hard working, skilled, punctual people with a keen eye for detail need apply. A 'can do' attitude is essential to be part of our team.
Full training will be given, any age or experience will be considered. All necessary tools will be provided as required by the role.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am till 4pm, Friday 7am till 12noon plus overtime when necessary
