CNC Programmer

Our client has been manufacturing the highest quality precision machined components and turned parts for over 30 years.  They are looking for an experienced Mazak CNC Programmer to join their fantastic team in Birmingham B6.  They have acquired international customers in diverse industries including Aerospace, Medical, Safety, Defence, Lighting, Automotive, Electronics & Telecommunications.

The Role:

This role is a challenging and rewarding senior position within the company and is suited to a CNC engineer experienced in working with, and programming Mazak HyperQuadrex and Quick Turn Nexus Machines. You will oversee setting up jobs and programming a cell of 3 Mazak machines in a fast moving, subcontract precision machining company.

About You:

You will be expected to be up to date with the Latest types of tooling and a good knowledge of SolidWorks and CamWorks would be desirable. As a senior engineer within the company, you will be expected to be self-motivated and to focus on continual improvement to help the company delivery the high levels of product quality and service that our customers have come to expect from Rowan Precision.

You will, be a leading and valuable member of a team of engineers, promoting team working to deliver product efficiently. You will be expected to work closely with the sliding head CNC Lathe cell assembly and quality departments. As a senior engineer, you will also assist the Managing Director and Sales Director with engineering input when quoting new jobs from time to time as well as reviewing machine capacity and discussing the purchase and specifications of new machines.
