Your Role: 

As a UK Merchandise Planner, you will take on a hybrid role where you will be involved in both demand planning and inventory stock planning for the UK and international brands. 

Working closely with Sales Teams, the Warehouse, Manufacturing and Finance Departments, you will seek to grow revenue and profitability through enhanced supply chain planning and effective forecasting. 

Your role will involve: 

- Ensuring orders are received, shipped on time and accurately reported 
- Delivering maximum product availability within inventory targets 
- Managing the end-to-end supply chain 
- Taking responsibility for placing orders with supplies and stock management 
- Managing the stock flow from the Far East to the UK 
- Reducing the overstock inventory and highlighting slow selling products 
- Ensuring clean exits for discontinued lines 
- Providing regular trend analysis 

About You: 

To be considered as a UK Merchandise Planner, you will need: 

- Previous experience in stock planning, ideally working with multiple categories 
- A strong level of IT literacy including experience with MS Office, and very strong technical analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables/charts, VLOOKUP and experience handling multiple large data sets 
- A high level of numerical comprehension 
- Strong analytical and communication skills 
- The ability to work independently and within a team 
- Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines 
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
