We are seeking independent, friendly and passionate people of all ages to join the team of Charity Fundraisers working at local venues across the Northamptonshire / Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire regions. So if you live in Bedford, Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, Luton and the surrounding area we want to hear from you!
SALARY & BENEFITS: If successful, you'll be employed on a Permanent Contract - You will be paid a GUARANTEED base rate of GBP8 per hour. On average the Charity Fundraisers earn GBP13.00p/hr earned from commission rates on top of the base salary.
Working hours are Flexible - Minimum of 3 days/18 hours per week (up to 5 days) including some weekend working.
Wildlife Fundraising is wholly owned by a partnership of 8 Wildlife Trusts. They were formed in 2013 to provide face-to-face (F2F) membership recruitment services for the members of the company.
YOUR ROLE??? Reporting to the Team Leader, if successful for the role of Charity Fundraiser will be to recruit new members for the client. This position is based around the Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire areas. There will be absolutely NO COLD CALLING. If successful you will be working from a stand working in private site local venues within the set areas.
Key Responsibilities of Charity Fundraiser to include:-
To recruit new members for Wildlife Trust at various private site venues
Work independently with a proactive and flexible approach
Complete all relevant paperwork, reports and time sheets in an accurate and timely manner in line with management requirements. Including the use of IT where appropriate
Represent our client in a professional manner at all times, whether engaging with members of the public, Trust staff & volunteers, or any other supporters.
What you will need: The successful applicant MUST have a driving licence with access to their own transport. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable with an interest in wildlife. Self-motivated and well organised they will have an interest in wildlife and basic administration skills. The Charity Fundraiser positions will be based in Bedfordshire / Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.
Opportunities are available in Bedford, Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, Luton and all surrounding areas
Key experience essential for the role of Charity Fundraiser based in Bedfordshire / Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire:
Must have driving licence with own transport.
Ideally the candidate will have access to a computer at home with an internet connection.
Having an interest in wildlife will be desirable however not essential.
