Security Concierge

Study Inn is opening a brand-new Centre in Bristol & our stunning accommodation will be opening in September 2018.  We’re very excited to be showcasing our amazing facilities and services with 296 luxury studio rooms and 54 serviced kitchens. We are now recruiting for exceptional talent to match our facilities!

We are recruiting for a team of 5 Security Concierges working an average of 32 hours per week, including evenings, nights and weekends. Rate of pay is £8.64 per hour with an achievable bonus of £830 per year.

Our Ideal Security Concierge:

As a Security Concierge you will be responsible for the safety & security of our customers and building at our Bristol Centre.  This will include carrying out checks on areas of the building as required and tackling security issues causing minimum disruption to our customers.

Initial responsibilities of a Security Concierge:

- Safeguard, patrol and monitor the premises making sure all areas are kept secure and entry to the premises is monitored.

- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. 

- Confident in using telephones, radios and computers for communication.

- Inspect property to protect against fire theft vandalism and illegal activity.

- Open and close and monitor all gymnasiums and communal areas

- Complete on site reporting paperwork.

- Demonstrate a good judgement of character and common sense when dealing with customers

- Monitor CCTV for any suspicious activities.

- Manage post and parcels and distribute to the correct students.

- Attend to minor maintenance issues.

- Provide excellent customer service and making our customers feel welcomed

The successful candidate for the role of Security Concierge will have the following experience:

- At least 1-year experience in a previous Security or Hotel Hall / Night Porter role.

- Experience of working in an accommodation environment such as a Hotel

- Excellent customer service skills

- Clear communication skills

- Fluent in another language (not essential, but would be an advantage)

- Impeccable presentation

- An outstanding can-do attitude and the desire to work as a member of a team

- All candidates must provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK to be considered
