Control Engineer

Circa £35,000 DOE plus Bonus Scheme, Pension Scheme, Mobile Phone, Laptop and Health Care

This company designs, develops and installs advanced factory automation systems worldwide within the feed and grain industry. They are now seeking a talented Control Engineer to join their team.

As a Control Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide variety of control engineering activities to support the smooth installation and operation of our systems throughout the UK and sometimes overseas.

You'll design, configure and test their software control systems to ensure that they are operating in the most efficient manner. When systems are fully prepared you will commission and install them on site, occasionally at weekends.

Additionally, liaising with customers, you'll provide valuable training and an exceptional level of support to ensure that any issues are resolved promptly and effectively.

The following skills and experience will benefit your application:

- Experience of automation and control systems
- Familiarity with PLCs, electrical panels and SCADA systems
- Electrical or controls qualification
- Windows PCs and Servers set-up
- Ethernet networking
- Knowledge of animal feed manufacture

A full driving licence is required.

As a Control Engineer, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills and a logical, analytical approach. Methodical and driven, you must also have a strong customer focus and superb attention to detail.
