This company is globally renowned for their highly responsive customer service and experienced Application Specialists providing exceptional technical support. Pipette Service and Calibration and Instrument Service facilities are also available in our North America and European locations.
They are looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to oversee control of the warehouse system and to maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse.
Excellent oral and written communication with other departments, staff groups and customers must be of a high standard and able to produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Inventory Controller Role
- Manage and Control perpetual inventory stock counting
- Work with the purchasing team to ensure that P/O's are sequenced in order to satisfy stock replenishment and delivery schedules.
- Analyse stock movements to accurately set min/max stock levels
- Investigate stock inaccuracies and report findings
- Previous inventory control experience gained within a fast-moving multi SKU environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word with the ability to understand functionality in relation to inventory control
- A basic understanding of ERP systems with the ability to understand functionality in relation to inventory control.
- Experience of dealing with suppliers on a proactive basis and identifying performance issues and collate reports to substantiate your findings
Essential requirements of the Inventory Controller:
- Thorough understanding of all inventory performance KPI's
- Experience of developing and managing the Critical Path
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- A problem solver and team player also able to use own initiative
