Estimator / Projects Supervisor

Medical Piped Gases Ltd. is a Leicestershire-based company specialising in the installation of Medical & Laboratory Gas Systems.

We are looking for an individual who is a team player, self -motivated, with an enthusiasm for work and their own development.

Working within a small team, you will provide be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of all Installation Contracts, in a varied role that includes, but is not limited to, Estimating, Site Surveying & Follow-Up Quotations, Procurement and the Organisation of Labour.

Full training will be provided, but experience within the Mechanical Services Sector is essential (Industrial/Commercial/Plumbing/Heating).

Key Responsibilities 

- Preparing Estimates from Client-Supplied Drawings / Specifications

- Undertaking Site Surveys

- Procurement of Materials for Projects & Liaising with Suppliers

- Collation & Monitoring of Contract Figures

- Organisation & Monitoring of In-House & Sub-Contract Labour

- Dealing with Clients via Telephone, E-mail & Face-to-Face Meeting

- Liaising & Organising Works with Clients & Employees

Qualifications Required

- Basic AutoCAD Skills

- Full Driving License

- GCSE Maths C (or equivalent)

- GCSE English C (or equivalent)

IT Literate (proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel)

- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

Salary: Negotiable

Working Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday-Friday
