Environmental Supervisor
Location: Southern end of M25 Corridor
Hours: Varied
Package: GBP8.50 per hour+ Pension, Holiday, Ongoing training, various other company benefits
Mitie is currently looking to recruit an Environmental Supervisor to join our Mitie Landscape Unit. The Environmental Supervisor will be working on various of our prestigious sites within South side of the M25 corridor. As the Environmental Supervisor portfolio currently covers the postcode areas of: GU,RH,TN,SW,SE,TW,KR,CR,BR and DA.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Environmental Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring they and their team carry out duties and tasks to the highest standard of customer service, ensuring work is completed on time, safely, diligently, within budget and meets service level agreements; providing management information/reporting as required and any other ad-hoc supervisory duty.
Our Environmental Supervisors will carry out duties such as:
- The Environmental Supervisor will be supporting: the development of new sales, ensuring continuous growth; the Contract Managers by coordinating maintenance work; innovation and development amongst the team.
- The Environmental Supervisor will need to: Lead by example with regards to health and safety, compliance with statutory and contractual legislative requirements
- Build effective relationships with the clients, answering queries and keeping them informed of site activities and developments; develop a professional and effective operational team, ensuring objectives are set, monitored and achieved; Identify opportunities for, and organise and manage to completion, any additional works; understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
- It will be up to the Environmental Supervisor to: Periodically "stand in" for the Contract manager by attending client/customer meetings/site visits; Implement a positive health and safety culture; formulate GM/Landscaping quotations; supervise grounds maintenance operators; effectively plan maintenance work across the contract ensuring efficient use of labour, materials and equipment

- Word Class and reputable communication Skills, leadership skills, time management/ organisational Skills, administration skills & attention to detail
- Relevant professional, technical or management qualifications
-Supervisory or managerial experience within a similar role (Desired)
