Relief Farm Manager
One of our market leading, poultry clients based within the Attleborough area is looking for a Relief Farm Manager to support the multiple farms across Norfolk when needed. There are exciting progression opportunities available as this business is currently thriving. The role will require you to work 48 hours over 6 days of the week.
Main Duties of the Relief Farm Manager:
• You will Relief Manage Farms when required. This will include all aspects of poultry farm production including provision of alarm cover
• Undertake routine visits to sites to check on bird health, welfare, compliance and performance
• Attend day old and brood and move deliveries and vaccinate where required
• Check and weigh birds as required
• You will take birds to vets and deliver appropriate treatment where required
• You will make deliveries to sites where required, possibly using tractor and trailer
• Aid in the setting up and maintenance of sites
Experience required:
• You will have previous experience with livestock, preferably at Assistant Farm Manager level
• Excellent understanding of bird welfare issues including knowledge of Red Tractor and RSPCA Assured production
• You must have a flexible approach to working
• Due to the remote location of the sites across Norfolk you will need to hold a full driving licence
Qualifications required
• Qualification in poultry production or experience working on a farm
• Previous tractor driving experience

• You will be provided with a work van to enable you to carry out your responsibilities.
