Passionate about a cleaner, greener Cornwall?

Are you an expert in marketing and campaigns who is keen to inspire others and mobilise them to change?

We're looking for someone who is passionate about Cornwall's environment and wants to pursue a career in ensuring residents and visitors care about it too.

You'll be creating new and innovative campaigns on waste, recycling and the environment to support our ambition for a cleaner, greener Cornwall.

We're looking for a passionate, energetic and creative individual who can help us boost recycling rates, drive a plastic-free campaign and help people nurture our environment. You'll have a good understanding of behavioural change and social marketing, with a track record of delivering successful campaigns.

If you think you've got the right skills and experience, this is a fantastic job that rarely comes up.

Cornwall is a truly unique place with a unique set of challenges and pressures, so we're looking for people to join our Strategy and Engagement team that can bring creative thinking, build on strong foundations and challenge the status quo. The Strategy and Engagement Service has a team of around 60 staff and sits within the Customer and Support Services Directorate.

We can offer the opportunity to work on high profile strategic initiatives such as the Devolution Deal, the Strategy for Cornwall, the promotion of Cornish as a recognised National Minority Group and the Council's leadership approach across key policy areas as we commence the process of leaving the European Union.

If you'd like to be at the forefront of shaping ground breaking work and changing lives, then take a look at the roles we have on offer. We want people to join our team who will share in our journey of excellence in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK.

Delivering strategic communications, ensuring our residents are informed and that we engage with them in meaningful ways where they are able to influence the decisions the Council makes are core to our work, which can range from working with the media, to marketing, driving behavioural change campaigns or running consultations.
