Company Accountant, Leicester £30-£45K + CarOur client, a highly successful private equity backed high tech engineering business (Turnover £8 million per annum and export orientated) is seeking to appoint an ambitious person as its first Company Accountant. Reporting to the Managing Director you will take responsibility for all accounting and financial matters.
Candidates should be qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, ideally, but not essentially with manufacturing or engineering experience. Candidates should ideally possess some industrial experience, currently at Senior or Assistant level, and be keen to progress.
Job description
* To be a member of the senior management team
* Oversee an accounts administrator
* Produce Monthly management accounts
* Produce monthly report to the board
* Control Debtors and Creditors
* Cash flow management
* Deal with shipping documentation
* Oversee monthly payroll
* Oversee strategic purchasing and purchase cost reduction
* Oversee company HR
* Assist with Production planning
* Support the operations director
* Systems - Sage Line 50 and Excel
