I am recruiting on behalf of a charity that supports voluntary action in Birmingham and Solihull. They are located just outside of Birmingham City Centre

They are seeking to recruit an experienced manager to support the Talent Match programme in the final phase of delivery, development and transition.

This is a fixed term contract till until 31 December 2018

Talent Match is a £100m investment programme of the Big Lottery Fund designed to provide support to young people between the ages of 18 - 24 years of age who are 'Not in Employment, Education or Training' (NEET) and have been so for more than 12 months.

Talent match is now in its final year of delivery and is focused on maximising its potential to achieve its lifetime targets and develop an innovative needs-led exit legacy and continuation strategy.

The company are keen to continue with the programme and are currently exploring other funding options.

The purpose of your role is to:
oTo oversee the operations of the Talent Match Programme;
oTo monitor performance to ensure the programme's contracted targets and delivery priorities are met;
oTo manage the activity of the Direct Delivery Team;
oTo line manage staff within the Talent Match Team;

Some of your responsibilities will include:
" To manage the day to day operations of the programme
To analyse programme performance data and adjust operational delivery to maximise the opportunity to deliver 100% of its target.
" To effectively performance manage a range of contracts that support the delivery and strategic development of the programme.

" To line manage and support the Programme Co-ordinator role and ensure that their contracts and team's delivery priorities and associated activity are effectively contributing to the outcomes of the programme.

" To work in partnership with the Programme Co-ordinator to ensure that the direct delivery function and the outreach and employment functions are integrated and operating effectively.

" To monitor and manage participant and programme risk appropriately.

" To line manage and support the team of Delivery Coaches including the delivery of support and supervisions and regular performance reviews.

This is a full time role- 35 hours per week. Flexible working hours

Salary offered: £ 34,746 (PRO RATA)

Holidays are 29 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays + Pension Scheme + Flexible leave
