Our client is looking for a commercially aware Quality Manager to join their growing e-commerce business.
The Company
Our client is an e-commerce business specialising in household products. They supply to the UK and Europe and are hoping to expand into the USA.
The Role
They are looking for a Quality Manager to oversee the Product Development, Compliance and Legislation around the products they sell. The role includes technical and commercial aspects and the successful candidate will demonstrate success within both of these areas.
The role includes:
* Supplier Engagement: dealing with product improvement, supplier contracts and legislative changes
* Product Development: compliance, assessing products' fit for purpose and launch schedules
* Processes: technical documentation control, product liability and product inspections
* Knowledge Share: customer service, liaising with buyers, shipping and suppliers
* Quality: dealing with warranty, returns and complaints
You will have knowledge of legislation and standards around electrical and household products. You may be required to deal with insurance claims and Trading Standards.
The Successful Candidate
You will have a background in electronic repairs or similar.
You will have knowledge of Legislative and Compliance Documentation required for household products.
You will be able to demonstrate success in a commercial role
You will be flexible and adaptable
