The Perse is one of the country’s leading co-educational independent day schools, providing a high quality education to pupils aged 3 – 18 in Cambridge. We are seeking to recruit a Head of Careers and Work Related Learning which is an exciting opportunity for an applicant with experience in careers and progression advice or in graduate recruitment, selection and development.

The role includes the strategic shaping of the School’s on-going provision, adapting it to new and more competitive fields in both course progression and career development, and providing advice and opportunities for bright ambitious students at a formative stage of their development.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, a total of 30 hours per week, term time only. The salary will be £22,654 per annum (which is pro-rated from the full time equivalent of £35,060 per annum, to reflect the part time and term time hours).

Benefits include pension scheme, free lunch and paid holiday entitlement of 6 weeks, including Bank holidays per annum, which must be taken during School holidays.
