FABRICATION PLANNER - GBP27,000 PA - WIMBORNE - IMMEDIATE START
We are recruiting for a Planner to join a leading organisation in the Defence, Aerospace and Commercial Markets, to ensure products that are manufactured by the organisation are produced in a cost-effective way that meets quality specifications.
The successful candidate will receive a permanent contract of 39 hours per week after 12 weeks temping via The Work Shop.
Responsibilities will include:
Create route cards.
Plan all processes including the manufacture of parts and assemblies.
Purchase material and other resources.
Conduct new product introduction meetings.
Liaise with the shop floor concerning improvements on the manufacture of parts and assemblies.
Ensure the layouts comply with all customer and legal requirements.
Experience needed:
All applicants would possess experience in Engineering - particularly the Aerospace, Defence, Marine, Nuclear or Rail industries.
You also have experience in planning assembly work and fabricated parts as well as a sound understanding of engineering drawings and specifications, fabricated parts and welding, machining, treatments and ISO 9001
