Job Title: Senior Aircraft Simulation Engineer
Location: Crawley, Surrey
Salary: Attractive salary + benefits
Introduction:
Our client is a leading provider of aircraft simulation services and now has an immediate requirement for a Senior Aircraft Simulation Engineer based at their site in Crawley, Surrey.
ATTRACTIVE SALARY + BENEFITS INCLUDING 33 DAYS HOLIDAY, LIFE ASSURANCE. HEALTH INSURANCE, CHILD CARE VOUCHERS, PRIVATE MEDICAL COVER AND MORE.
You will be working in the avionics technical domain involved in the system design, software modelling, development, integration, test and delivery of the avionics simulation components of our client's aircraft training devices.
Suitable candidates are encouraged to make an immediate application.
Aircraft Simulation Engineer Responsibilities:
Include the following:
- Analysis of aircraft and equipment manufacturer's data.
- Software design/modification using appropriate software languages.
- Integration of software and hardware systems.
- Validation and verification of design implementation.
- Testing, fault finding and problem rectification.
- Interfacing with customers and aviation regulators.
Aircraft Simulation Engineer Applicant Requirements:
- An appropriate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant aviation industry.
- Demonstrable recent technical experience in the skill, discipline and/or domain associated with the avionics functional area.
- Good C/C++ programming skills.
- Team player.
- Strong communicator.
