The Company - Machine Operator
Our Client is the European market leader in manufacturing of paper rolls and self-adhesive labels. Their products are widely used in offices and sectors like retail, food & drink, financial, leisure & entertainment and transportation.
The Role - Machine Operator
We have an immediate requirement for a Machine Operator on a 12 weeks Temp-to-Perm basis. The main job role will be operating a paper slitting machine and the successful candidate will be solely responsible for the running of the machine. Candidate will also set the machine (full training will be given).
The Hours - Machine Operator
There are vacancies for the following shifts:
1. 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday to Friday weekly rotating shifts.
2. 10:00pm-06:00am Monday to Friday fixed shift.
Your Background - Machine Operator
The ideal candidate will have good machine operating experience, printing or plastics industry experience will be advantageous. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
Pay Rates - Machine Operator
GBP8.22 per hour - Standard
GBP12.33 per hour - Overtime 1
GBP16.44 per hour - Overtime 2
Temp-to-Perm opportunities for the right candidate. Once permanent STD pay rate goes up to GBP8.52 an hour and also weekly production bonus of up to GBP60 will be payable.
