An excellent opportunity for An Experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join a well-established company based in London!

The Company:

Established 1894 in Islington, North London their early works were building and maintenance work, with many projects in Church premises. Their activities soon extended into voluntary schools attached to the Churches following into GLC then ILEA schools and premises.

This work continues today where they now install and maintain commercial kitchens, plumbing and light building works. They have maintained their building department in order to offer the turn-key service required for refurbishment projects undertaken.

The company provides service and repairs to Schools, Restaurants, Local Authorities and more. Their engineers inspect, service and repair commercial catering equipment from Rational Ovens to Tea Boilers, and all other catering equipment. They also design, supply and install commercial kitchens. Their office is located in Hainault, Essex

The Role: Commercial Catering Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service of commercial catering equipment
  • Maintenance of commercial catering equipment
  • Repair of commercial catering equipment
  • Fault Finding on both electrical and gas commercial catering equipment
  • Meeting clients - Customer facing position

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

  • Comcat (1,2, 3, 5 would be an advantage)
  • LPG (Not Essential but useful)
  • Relevant electrical experience (17th, 16th, 15th edition, HNC, NVQ, City and Guilds in electrics would be an advantage)
  • Minimum 1-year experience working on Commercial Catering Equipment
  • Driver's Licence Full UK

Package:

  • Basic Salary from £33,000 (Based on experience) 42.5-hour week
  • Overtime paid at time and half after 4pm Monday to Friday and Saturday, Double time on Sundays, Bank holidays
  • Overtime offered to engineers as available.
  • Flexible hours Normal 07.00 - 16.00, start earlier finish earlier
