Our client based in Uxbridge is seeking a Team Leader, who can assist the Registered and Deputy Manager of the home in the day to day operation of the home. The candidate must always have the children's best interest in mind,he will be capable of leading a team and delegating work accordingly.
Your duties will be :
- You will be making decision which will benefit the children and help them reach their full potential.
- You will be responsibility for a delegated part of the service and allocated resources.
- You will be supervising and wide range of staff in a number of roles.
- You will build and maintain a culture of trust and mutual respect between all involved in the Home, both children and members of staff.
- You will make sure that compliance with, the policies and the procedures of the home are strictly kept.
- You will provide a support to young people as determined by their care plan, to meet their emotional and social care needs.
- You will facilitate and lead on training, team meetings and development
- You will ensure that records, paper and electronic, are maintained.
You will need to have :
- Minimum 2 years' of experience Residential Ofsted Setting.
- Experience in supervising and managing a staff team.
- Experience in working with children with EBD and Challenging behaviour
Work shifts on a 24/7 basis as required by the establishment including sleep in duties.
- Minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Ability to keep good record and monitoring systems
- Excellent leadership skills.
