Our client has six colleges, two training providers and around 2,500 staff spread across 61 locations, which also makes them one of the largest not for profit training groups in the UK.

They work with thousands of learners, employers and apprentices each year, collaborating with businesses across the UK to help underpin their journey to success and future growth.

Their two training providers are now looking for someone to lead the development of innovative curriculum delivery for existing provision, utilising digital technology and e-learning approaches to ensure learners have a good experience and achieve their goals and qualifications.

Developing outstanding innovative teaching, learning and assessment and independent e-learning approaches, you will provide training, advice and guidance to operational directorates on curriculum development and innovation, support professional development of staff and work collaboratively across Rathbone and Intraining to provide coaching and developmental support. Continually seeking new and innovative ways to improve what we do and how we do it, you will line manage staff and contribute to the co-ordination and delivery of opportunities to share best practice.

Empowering and developing delivery teams to plan and deliver effective schemes of learning, you will identify training needs and best practice and lead projects which focus on effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies to engage groups of learners.  

Educated to Degree level and holding PGCE / Cert Ed / DTLLS or equivalent, and with proven extensive knowledge of Teaching and Learning, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an advanced practitioner / teacher educator role or similar and Digital Learning Technology expertise. An excellent communicator with a background in educational environments in FE and Skills Sector, especially work-based learning, you will have training and experience of successful improvement in a range of quality assurance, continuous improvement and inspection methodology in the FE and Skills Sector (e.g. Ofsted, Estyn, SDS, Matrix and Merlin).
