Bank Domestic Assistant - Penylan House Nursing Home

£8.04 per hour

Penylan House is a part of Linc Care and operates in the not-for-profit sector. The fully redeveloped modern, purpose-built facility has 75 single, ensuite bedrooms with well furnished rooms, landscape gardens and car parking. The whole building exceeds CSSIW requirements with bigger bedrooms, wider corridors, spacious lounges and a high staff to resident ratio. Our recent residents and relatives’ satisfaction survey showed an incredible 100% are happy with the quality of their relative’s care and support.

We are currently looking to recruit a self-motivated Domestic Assistant to provide high quality cleaning services throughout the Nursing Home.

Your duties will include:

• Ensuring that all rooms and common spaces are properly cleaned and maintained throughout the building.
• Developing a positive relationship with all residents, staff and other visitors to the home by becoming an integral part of the housekeeping team.  

   

  To successfully undertake this role, you will be a good communicator, have excellent customer service skills, understand our elder’s needs and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

   

  Previous experience of working as a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner is essential and you must be committed to providing a high quality service at all times.
