Primary School Teacher

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic class teacher to join the Moorland Federation for 3.5 days a week with a teaching commitment based at Exford C of E First School.
This position is on a fixed term for 2 years, commencing on 1st September 2018, teaching within our Infant Class of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children. This post is not suitable for NQTs. MS1-MS6.

We are looking for someone who:
• Is an excellent classroom teacher
• Has an understanding of the distinctive Christian character of our school
• Is willing to demonstrate commitment to the values and ethos of the Moorland Federation
• Is able to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge pupils to raise standards and achievement at all levels
• Has the drive, determination and enthusiasm to secure at least good teaching and learning within their classroom
• Has the vision and skill to create an outstanding learning environment
• Possesses strong organisational and communication skills
• Has a commitment to working in partnership with parents, governors and the whole staff team
• Is willing and able to demonstrate their ability to undertake additional teaching and learning responsibilities
• Has experience of assessing under the National Curriculum
• Has a clear understanding of their responsibility to safeguard children
