Pet Sales Manager

We are currently looking for a Pet Sales Manager to expand the sales of Trouw Nutrition GB manufactured products in the EU and Eastern Europe within the pet food and equine sectors. 

You will be required to develop business and increase Trouw Nutrition GB’s market share of the regional pet food and equine feed manufacturing sectors through direct sales contacts and through liaison with our sister companies. You will prepare market, sectorial and sales information/reports and have oversight of customer accounts, including direct involvement in and management of order processing, logistics and customer relations. Working in conjunction with the International & Pet Business Director, you will develop sectorial sales strategies for the pet and equine sectors, setting sales and profitability targets and pricing structures with the objective of optimising return on deployed resource.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, along with a track record in B2B sales and knowledge of European pet or equine sectors. You will have the ability to gather, analyse, interpret and present technical data and be a team player but also able to work on your own. We’re looking for someone who is a good communicator of concepts as well as detail and who is self-organised and self-motivated.

Being UK based, you must be willing to travel and have the ability to plan and organise your own travel schedule. Being able to speak a European language in addition to English would be advantageous but is not essential.
