Recruitment Consultant

At Brook Street, we understand that people drive our business, so we are always looking for talented, driven individuals who would like to pursue a career within the recruitment industry.

You will be required to deal with clients face to face and via telephone, so you must be professional and have excellent communication skills. A full driving licence is a must so you can visit your clients in the Lancashire and Cumbria area.

You must also be extremely organised and be able to manage a heavy workload.

You must be able to prioritise your time and have excellent attention to detail.

The role will be to develop and build relationships with local employers and applicants in order to source and fill vacancies. Responsible for sourcing and placing candidates to specific permanent position for our clients, you will assess and interview candidates, building a clear picture of their career goals and noting their experience, as well as any areas in which they may require training.

When filling a permanent role, you will work to match the role to the right candidate as closely as possible, in order to minimise incompatibility and ensure a recruitment solution that benefits both parties. A Permanent Consultant will also need to be proactive in canvassing local business in order to identify opportunities, as well as confident in forwarding candidates to very particular permanent placements.

You don`t need previous experience to join our team as a recruitment consultant, because we offer full induction training, as well as regular refresher sessions.

However we are looking for key skills and attributes.

This is a full time role Mon - Fri 9:00 - 17:30. Competitive salary and bonus scheme.
