Legal Cashier (Maternity Cover)

Legal Cashier vacancy avaliable based in a well known solicitor's firm in Edgware.

Must have experience as a legal cashier for at least 2 Years

Must have a Flexible attitude to multi task and attention to detail

Familiarity with Elite/Envision software will be a benefit

Must have Good knowledge of SRA Rules

Must have Good Communication Skills

Main Duties:
- Processing chaps, bacs and faster payments
- Assist fee earners with ledger queries
- processing of monies coming in and posting to matter where claimed
- Chasing fee earners for unclaimed receipts
- Assisting with bank reconcilliations as required
- Paying disbursement such as court fee, counsel fee on request
- Ensure procedures are followed by fee earner before posting anything on ledgers or - processing payment from office account or client account
- Take credt card payment from clients as and when requested
- Be familiar with different reports generated by system
- Account rules and AML Compliance at all times and updating the breach log.

This is a 6 month Maternity cover with the potential of going permanent based on performance.
