PRIMARY PURPOSE

As an integral member of the global Human Resources team, the HR Manager will provide direct day to day HR support to managers and employees across all functions of the International business unit. They will be responsible for driving key HR processes across the business unit and ensuring consistency across the organisation. This role is responsible for providing HR leadership across the entire region as well as collaborating on company-wide projects and initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provides strong HR leadership to the business unit and acts as a partner to the business leaders on organisational structure, staffing, morale, compensation, employee relations and other HR initiatives.
* Conducts full cycle recruiting including drafting of job descriptions, working with hiring managers to determine compensation ranges, sourcing and screening of applicants, drafting of offer letters and contracts, and managing the induction process in accordance with the applicable regional laws and guidelines.

* Works directly with Business Unit's management team to identify and solve workforce issues including conducting investigations, managing grievance processes, coaching and counselling managers on disciplinary matters and ensuring consistency with company policies and practices across all regions.

* Manage and oversee all benefits related activities including renewals, act as liaison with benefit providers and ensure compliance with all required regulations and best practices.

* Manages leave processes by region/country with employees and managers and ensures compliance with applicable local law.

* Processes new starters, status changes and leavers in the HR system as well as managing related paperwork and files. Generates reports as needed.

* Proactively develops, recommends and assists with the implementation of new HR initiatives, procedures, training materials and documentation for all regions of the International business unit. Ensures consistency across the International division as much as possible taking into account regional laws, norms etc.

* Facilitates training and coaching on various employment topics for both employees and managers.

* Leads and prioritises work of HR Administrator supporting the Business Units as well as acts as point of contact for HR contacts in each country.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

* A Bachelor's degree and 8 years of progressive HR generalist experience or equivalent work experience. Experience in a face paced, multi-national environment required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

* Demonstrated experience in benefits administration.

* Strong knowledge of UK employment law required. Experience with international HR management.

* Strong computer skills required including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Must have previous experience maintaining an HRIS system as well as generating reports.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with HR team members on projects and initiatives.

* Must be extremely organised and detail oriented with strong time-management skills.

* Excellent communication skills required as well as the ability to interface with all levels of the organisation.

* Ability to travel within the UK and internationally and work extended hours as needed.
