Electro Mechanical Assembler
Our client is looking to recruit an electro-mechanical assembler to join the final assembly team. The electro-mechanical assembler will be required to work both individually or in a team.
Our client is a (CEM) contract electronic manufacturing service company, with contracts in the Aerospace & Defence, Transport, Safety & Security, Industrial & Instrumentation, Medical, and Communications & Broadcast sectors.
The electro-mechanical assembler will be hands-on building final assembly units including (when required) testing of the unit. The work requires electro- mechanical assembly, crimping, soldering and the use of torque drivers. A high standard of quality is required at all times.
Required Skills
• Soldering
• Mechanical assembly
• Wiring and crimping.
• Good working knowledge of IPC 610 and IPC 620
Hours of work
08:00 to 16:30 Monday - Thursday (with half hour lunch)
08:00 to 13:00 Friday (no lunch)
Package
GBP15,000 and GBP18,000 depending on relevant experience.
Permanent position
Overtime at x 1.3 (Week days and Sat am), x1.5 (Sat pm) and x2 (Sunday)
