Fantastic opportunity to work for a successful health care company as a porter in the Harrogate area.
Hours of work will be shifts of 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am or days shifts, 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities for the Porter will include:
* Lifting, carrying, handling and transporting goods within the grounds including food, linen, laundry, beds and bedding, furniture, medical and other equipment, stores, refuse and pharmacy items
* Receive, dispatch, sort and convey messages, documents, specimens, parcels and mail within or between local sites
* Move patients to and from wards and departments
* Control car parking on the grounds.
* Drive, clean, and carry out routine checks on power driven vehicle
* Carry out tasks relating to security, emergency, fire and other priority areas using the correct policies and procedures.
* Man reception desk as required.
* Clear snow from all exits, fire escapes and pathways
