HGV Technician Nights

An experienced HGV Technician is required to join an industry leading company to ensure that the logistics team can make deliveries to customers with safe, well maintained vehicle and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and inspection of commercial vehicles, trailer and FLT's, ensuring the fleet meets DVSA HGV inspection standards (VOSA). The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of DAF and Iveco products. To be successful you will hold a HGV maintenance NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent. As a HGV technician you will be competent in using vehicle ECU diagnostic equipment and able to work on your own initiative, and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities / Experience:

* Carry out Inspections and maintenance to the commercial vehicles, trailers and FLT's
* Working Knowledge of DAF and Iveco product.
* Carry out all types of servicing related work and repairs, including welding and body work repairs
* Working knowledge of DVSA HGV inspection Standards (VOSA)
* Experienced in the use of vehicle ECU diagnostic equipment

Qualifications:

* Experienced HGV Technician
* HGV maintenance Level 2-3 NVQ or city & Guilds equivalent
* Full C+E driving licence

Salary: GBP41,000 per annum
