FM Procurement Lead - Managing a team of 4 - Leading Professional Services Firm - GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 + excellent bonus and package - London

Due to a recent restructure, one of Europe's most revered FTSE 100 firms is looking to recruit a FM Procurement Lead to work within their consulting delivery team. The successful candidate can expect to play a pivotal role in the next stage of this already successful firm's procurement growth.

What will this role entail?

As part of the senior leadership team you can expect to be heavily involved in all aspects of procurement delivery, team development and new sales opportunities. As the subject matter expert across all areas of hard and soft services procurement, you will spearhead commercial strategies in order to achieve savings for clients across Retail, Finance, Government, Professional Services and Leisure. As such, your management and negotiation skills will be put to the test as you traverse a diverse range of stakeholders. On top of this, you will also be tasked with managing and developing your team to ensure a track record of professionalism and internal promotion is maintained. Finally you will be instrumental in providing procurement FM solutions for the sales team and essentially helping to secure new business opportunities.

What procurement skills and experience are required?

• In depth procurement experience operating across the Facilities Management Category

• Prior experience managing a team with a track record of mentoring and developing procurement individuals

• The gravitas and confidence to perform in a leadership team with the ability to bring FM contacts and networks

• Best in class technical procurement skills and the ability to improve procurement governance and category management

• Ideally degree qualified

• Flexibility for UK/EU travel
