Team Manager x2

Salary: £34,000.00 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week

Our client a leading provider of supported accommodation based in Croydon and Upper Norwood is currently recruiting for two Team Managers.

They are London’s 3rd largest provider of supported accommodation, working with over 2000 homeless and vulnerable people every year.  They are currently looking for two Team Managers, who would relish the opportunity to lead service delivery in two of their largest and most challenging services – the first of these being in Palmer House.

Palmer House, based in Croydon, is a service that supports 60 single people up to 65 years of age with a range of complex needs including experience of homeless or rough sleeping, substance misuse and/or mental ill health.

Some of our client’s achievements from the last year include 100% of their customers being able to maximise their income. 88% of customers have been able to manage substance misuse better and 93% of customers managed their mental health better so this is an exciting opportunity to join and manage a large supported housing project.

Our client is looking for someone who has experience of working within a fast-paced hostel environment and can manage the many challenges this will present. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a natural ability to motivate and develop a team of staff to deliver an exceptional service. They will be results-orientated, managing all aspects of service delivery and will work alongside customers, who have very real and complex needs, to identify their strengths and skills so they can achieve their goals and aspirations.  They will have an in-depth knowledge of the issues facing people with complex needs and will have previous management experience.

The Fitze Millennium Centre, based in Upper Norwood, supports 80 single homeless young people from the age of 16 with a range of support needs. 100% of customers at this service maximised their income, 97% established contact with friends and family and 84% have secured settled accommodation in the last year.

Our client is looking for someone who has experience of working within a fast-paced supported housing environment and can manage the many challenges this will present. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the needs, young homeless people face today and be able to lead a team to provide the best possible opportunities to those we accommodate.
