Product Manager
Shore Recruitment are currently working with a very progressive company who are currently looking to recruit a Product Manager to research and identify new brand/product opportunities and manage existing brands, ensuring communication of information, driving of support from that brand and maximising the sales/margin in all available channels, while ensuring an efficient stock turn.
Key Results Areas
1. To purchase Product at the best possible prices
2. Identify future brands and introduce them to the sales team
3. To help manage customer pricing within the business to ensure margin targets are achieved
4. Maximise stock turn and ensure exit routes for overstock
5. Negotiate support from the new brands introduced to client to ensure market leading propositions
Main Activities
• Maintain strong supplier relations
• Constant on-going research to explore new product opportunities
• Involvement with key customers where appropriate to assist the clients customer relationship and sales team
• Production and Presentation of New Product Launch Information
• Ensure Price lists are kept up to date and communicated
• Ensure CMS content up to date and accurate
• Ensure we are first to market with new products/brands
• Proactively drive product marketing opportunities and promotions.
• Negotiate funding from suppliers for promotions
• Manage efficient set up of product
• Conduct product competitor analysis where appropriate
• Coordinate Product Training needs
