10588 - Financial Controller / Director Designate Job Spec
Location: Northamptonshire

Summary
Our Client, a highly successful manufacturing & supplier of products based in Northamptonshire, is seeking to recruit a senior Financial Controller on a full-time permanent basis.

The Client is looking for a highly experienced candidate (with a strong background in manufacturing) to oversee control and responsibility for all financial aspects. Project experience is essential! They require a candidate who is self-driven, flexible, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality & business profit. This role has two direct reports.

Responsibilities
*Produce all financial reports and issue within required timescales, including the periodic reporting of all key operating indicators to central & local management,
*Maintain a close working relationship with senior team members,
*Projects & fixed assets acquisition/dispersal experience is essential,
*Have full responsibility for cash management policies, including international treasury requirements,
*Ensure corporate budgeting processes are undertaken & reviewed to include forecasts & annual budget prep,
*Monitor & ensure company financial systems are robust, compliant & support current activities and assist future growth,
*Have overall control of the Company's accounting function, including cost & financial accounting,
*Liaise with key Stakeholders including auditors & bank as well as property & legal matters, and ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met,
*Lead, manage & develop the Finance & HR functions / team,
*Performing Company Secretary responsibilities,
*Administration of commercial insurances.


Requirements
*Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or recognised equivalent,
*Experience operating / trading in manufacturing within an international organisation,
*Outstanding management & team leadership experience/skills,
*Excellent knowledge of ERP or similar, MS Office,
*Excellent communication skills,
*On occasion, be willing to travel internationally,
*Be hands-on, flexible, self-driven, results-oriented with a high level of integrity & a positive outlook.

*Salary: competitive (subject to experience) + excellent bonus
