Senior or Principal Ecological Consultant - Guildford, Surrey.
A nationally recognised environmental consultancy with offices across Southern and Northern England are currently experiencing a sustained increase in workload across the South East of England.
This increase in work has included the addition of some major projects with key private sector clients, therefore my client need to employ either a Senior or Principal Ecologist to help deal with these major projects and add expertise to the Surrey team.
You will be given the opportunity to work with key public and private sector clients within the business, coupled with the opportunity to work on some high-profile, exciting projects across the SE of England and further afield.
You will also be provided with a team of Consultants to manage and expand upon.
Salary - GBP28,000 to GBP38,000 + Benefits (depending on grade and experience).
Working out of a Guildford based office, you will be responsible for scoping, designing and leading habitat and species surveys and mitigation design. You will manage multiple teams of survey staff on site and be responsible for completing in-house office work such as the writing of EcIA's and ecological statements.
Suitable candidates should demonstrate team leadership and man management qualities with around 5 year's consultancy experience. You will ideally hold an EPS licence for Bats and/or GCN and be an Associate/Full/Chartered member of CIEEM.
A full, clean UK driving licence is expected to work on varying projects across the South East of England.
