Personal Development Coordinator - Up to £30,000 per annum - Leeds, West Yorkshire

The Package

  • Permanent, Personal Contract
  • Up to £30,000 per annum
  • 40 hours per week
  • SSP for first 7 calendar days, then occupational sick pay
  • Up to 10% bonus per annum depending on performance
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus 8 days bank holiday, plus 2 half days (Christmas Eve and New Years Eve)

We are looking for a Personal Development Coordinator to support our community develop knowledge and interpersonal skills that support and encourage a culture of ownership, cross function knowledge sharing & collaboration.Developing and nurturing a citizen leadership network accessible to all citizens from all areas of the community.

The ideal Personal Development Coordinator:

  • Proven experience in a training coordinator role or similar
  • Proven ability in transferring and embedding knowledge

The role of Personal Development Coordinator:

Reporting to the Head of NGN Development Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the virtual environment of the Development Centre.You will support the business areas in the creation and ongoing development of their online content, ensuring the integrity of any material and a uniform approach to the visual design of all materials.

You will support the creation and delivery of the Leadership Development Portfolio and associated workshops, coaching & mentoring engagements etc.

You will also support the development and utilisation of a system to capture feedback on colleague experience following interactions with the Development Centre ensuring the continuous evaluation of all aspects of Training and Development facilitated by the Development Centre

Responsibilities

  • Prepare development material (presentations/booklets/on-line content etc.)
  • Coordinate and deliver NGNs development portfolio
  • Guide & support colleagues engaged in personal & leadership development
  • Facilitate regular development workshops and mentoring engagements
  • Analyse feedback & coordinate actions to ensure a culture of continuous improvement
  • Responsible for the accurate maintenance of the curriculum database and training & development records
  • Build open transparent relationships with key internal / external stakeholders
  • Coordinate the delivery of Development Centre activities and content to ensure an excellent customer and stakeholder experience
  • Identify and where applicable implement improvements for new / existing Development Centre activities
