The Role:  

As the Digital Product Manager, you’ll ensure that customers’ needs are at the heart of our product development activities.   

Specifically, you will:  

- Use Lean Startup and user-centred customer development methods to explore new value propositions that can add value both to BSI's customers and to the business 
- Find new ways to quickly validate new value propositions and understand potential commercial impact 
- Make sure that customer insight and market research underpin all decisions made during the innovation process 
- Work with teams throughout the business to implement and maintain a successful innovation programme for digital information solutions 
- Provide the business with robust validated evidence for the impact of new products and build commercially justified business cases 
- Provide product positioning and competitive intelligence for use by the cross-functional teams in delivering specific initiatives 

About You:  

To join us as a Digital Product Manager, you’ll need:  

- Digital product management experience  
- Experience of validating value propositions using Lean Startup and user-centred development methodologies
- Strong leadership and persuasion skills  
- The ability to influence and motivate others 
  
Ideally, you will have product concept development experience, but this is not essential.
