Pattern Cutter
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Pattern Cutter to join a small team supporting production with the provision of textile components.
The position will involve the following;
- making fabric/material ready for cutting
- cutting materials using a variety of tools eg Eastman knife, press and manual cutting
- applying chalk lines for machining
- manual assembly
Ideally interested candidates should have relevant experience working with pattern cutting. Experience might have been gained working in a similar factory environment, working as a tailor or dressmaker or working with other more industrial materials where templates and master patterns are used and materials cut to shape.
Candidates will be;
- a team-player
- dexterous
- mathematical aptitude
- able to lift and stand for prolonged periods of time
