Retail Shipping Logistics Coordinator, 12 month Fixed Term Contract, London
Job Title: Shipping Logistics Coordinator
Location: London
A boutique, International Jewellery Company are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join their excelling business here in London. With a high standard of service, customer communication and wholesale portfolio, they are wanting to add to their team for someone to contribute their passion into logistics and drive the company forward. This will be a Fixed Term Contract for maternity cover, but will offer you the prospect to develop, and learn.
Your new role:
You will be organising the movement of stock within the UK and internationally, handling import/export procedures and compliance to sufficiently meet targets. You will have the confidence to chase existing invoices and be resilient at maintaining the standards of the company's values and work ethic. You will be implementing a brand new rota system to decrease costs and increase efficiency in the team.
You will be developing with key courier providers in order to book collection, track shipments and manage any issues. By working successfully in this role you will ensure that clients are satisfied and products are delivered on time. You will have enthusiasm and be a keen learner, develop your own skills, train through the in-house ERP system and have an eye for detail. You will also be able to maintain a constant high level of communication with all people internally and externally.
Requirements:
I am looking for you to have previous experience within Shipping and within the Retail or Wholesale sector. You will have ambition to organise in order to prioritise your workload, deliver continuous high levels of communication and have a positive attitude. You will have experience handling all relevant documentation within import/export operations, including a detailed understanding of custom procedures, including invoices, COO, Carnet and EUR1. You will have experience working for an international brand, with the knowledge of complying with international regulations, time-frames and expectations. Administration and assistants with stock transfers will be required to be successful in this role.
