Role Summary
The Marketing Executive will work in the Marketing Department as part of the Marketing team. The focus of the role is to build brand awareness among students and agents in-country and to drive qualified leads to Kaplan International’s website.
The Marketing Executive’s principal duties and responsibilities will include to:
- work with Korea Country Manager and marketing team to create annual marketing plan for Korea
- maintain/update all digital assets which include the website, blog, landing pages and banners
- localise global campaigns
- monitor paid media performance and spending in conjunction with the paid media team
- manage social media activities on Facebook, Instagram and Naver
- plan, measure and execute SEO activity in conjunction with the SEO Manager
- create local email newsletters and localise global emails
- create ad copies for local magazine ads
- produce offline marketing materials which include posters, rollup banners
- assist in creating the Korean version of the KIE brochure
- agree a marketing plan to support the Korean agent team and support additional ad hoc requests as required
- ensure Korean sales team are aware of KIE marketing strategy and resources which are at their disposal
Requirements for the role
The successful candidate must possess all of the following attributes. qualifications and experiences:
- Masters’ degree
- experience of B2C marketing in one or more of the following sectors: education, travel or tourism
- experience of marketing to consumers in Korea
- demonstrable understanding of the study abroad market in Korea
- hands on experience using a range of digital marketing tools
- knowledge and experience of running campaigns on Naver
- experience and good working knowledge of Google Analytics
- proven success in managing marketing channels
- team work skills
- organisation and planning skills
- written and spoken fluency in Korean and English
- knowledge of HTML including the ability to edit, using HTML templates
- experience of using Drupal or Wordpress content management systems/platforms
- knowledge of CRM system, such as Salesforce
- knowledge of offline marketing
- demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize those tasks and meet deadlines.
