Our client is a successful and award winning travel company that offer various travel services across the globe. Due to remarkable growth, we are now seeking an experienced German or French Speaking Account Development Manager to join their busy and friendly team.
This role is ideal for an account manager from a travel background seeking something a little different in which you will be rewarded for your hard work.
Duties include:
• Day to day management of a portfolio of accounts.
• Building a rapport and strong commercial relationship with clients.
• Building relationships within key accounts at all levels, including initiating promotions & incentives.
• Resolution of technical issues.
• Delivery of client specific product promotions and evaluation of their success.
• Take on new clients as required when they are passed over from the sales department.
• Attendance at Trade Shows.
Essential requirements:
• Similar account management experience within the travel industry is essential.
• Fluent in both English and German or French.
• Personable and commercial 'people' person.
• Proven track record in managing a portfolio of clients.
• Understanding of XML connectivity and IT platforms.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
