We are working with a very special property close to Whitby to find an equally special Senior Chef. You may be a Sous Chef or a Head Chef. The opportunity could be for either.
Currently there are two Senior Sous' in the kitchen. There is a possibility for a Head Chef/Exec to come into the business. Also a space for another Senior Sous. All depending on where you want to be and what your experience is.
This property is truly unique, attracting guests from across Yorkshire and the rest of the UK. Renowned for their warm welcome and ability to cater for large numbers whether that's a Charity event or a large family meal.

Great relationships both in the Kitchen and with front of house are of high importance to the owners, their open kitchen promotes great communication and respect for Guests.
You will be a true team player with a passion for working with fresh ingredients. Covers can vary from as little as 30 to 300. The business is able to accommodate events in excess of 300 guests. Within this diverse business you could be catering a Charity event seating 300 people, catering a supper club for the Rotary group. You could be cooking for a family Dinner, table of 15 or catering for Day trippers to the seaside. Being able to adapt and think on your feet is essential. If variety is something you crave, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Very well equipped kitchen. Very well organised. Lots of space for storage with multiple chillers etc.
A truly inclusive owner who is willing to work with the Brigade to get the best results.
Salary dependent on experience. Up to GBP36,000 for Exec. Up to GBP30,000 for Senior Sous
