Housekeeper/House Man

Staff required for large recently renovated Grade 1 listed country house in Dorset Must have experience working within a private household, possess a hardworking, can-do attitude and adopt an energetic, hands on approach. Weekend work will be required particularly during the shooting season

Housekeeper: Housekeeping responsibilities are predominantly day to day cleaning, laundry, Stock control and general care of the home, guest and ancillary facilities and to support the family and guests. An attention to detail and the ability to use initiative required.

House Man: Household, guest and ancillary maintenance, Pool maintenance, handy man duties, assisting other estate workers as needed and security. Some technical awareness of integrated heating, lighting and audio-visual equipment would be an advantage. Technical training will be provided.
