We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Groundworker to join our team based in Aberdeen.

 

Within the role, you will provide a complete flagging service to the Group and/or its agents. Taking information from job outline tickets, you will prepare the ground to be flagged alongside laying flagging, edging and kerb stones. Laying flags including cementing and mortaring, you will work to line and levels, ensuring fall on flags whilst cutting flags using hand and machine tools. Repairing and replacing flags as necessary, you will maintain and replenish vehicle imprest stock alongside collection and delivery of materials. Candidates for this position will erect use and dismantle access equipment and obtain, where requested, Customer feedback on completion of works.

With previous experience of working in the Building Construction/Maintenance industry, you will be qualified to City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. It is essential that you are competent in concrete paths and ramps.

The successful Ground Worker will possess the ability to understand an interpret work instructions, drawings and schematic drawings whilst establishing and maintaining excellent customer/ client relationships. With the ability to trace, diagnose and rectify faults, you will be customer focused with excellent communication skills.

The successful Ground Worker may be required to work in any location throughout the Contract and work may vary from location to location.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence
