Field Support Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for a `Field Support Technician` who would like to work in the Public Sector. Based in Macclesfield, this role offers work with a reputable government client and you will be surrounded by a great team to support you through this journey.

You will be providing 2nd line support throughout the customer areas both remote and on-site support by using IT Systems including networking and standalone PC & APOS (Clinical & Administrative Systems) - you will carry out IT Support, on-site and remote, via telephone (help desk) or remote diagnostics either on site or back at the workshop

You will be carrying out second line support to end users and to assist other departments by giving technical advice and support within agreed terms of business - Also provide on the spot training to users in the use of applications, directory structures and saving data onto file servers.

Carrying out the planning, preparation, delivery, installation and configuration of both standalone and networked hardware (e. PCs, printers and peripherals) and software systems (e. PC operating systems, office products, bespoke software) following agreed documentation / procedures

Suitable candidates would need to have a criminal check and references for last 3 years and would need to have good written, oral and computer skills

It is a full time role - Monday to Friday - temp ongoing

Pay Rate: £ 14 rising after 12 weeks
