IT Support Engineer

This company has an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for an interesting work environment.

The available job role is primarily based at one of their customers sites in Coventry where they are placing a member of staff full time to work within this multi-site network.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience in the following areas:

- Server support with good working knowledge of AD, DNS, VLANS and Exchange.
- Virtual server support in Hyper-V.
- Firewalls, SSL and BOVPN configurations.
- VOIP systems.
- An understanding of CAD systems such as Catia and powermill \ powershape would be beneficial not essential.
- PC and laptop support of windows 7 through to 10.
- Smart phones.
- Antivirus setup and roll out.
- Hardware diagnostics and repair experience.

As part of this role you will also be part of a team of engineers supporting other customer sites across the West Midlands via remote software and occasional site visits.

The successful candidate will have

- A car that they are happy to use for business use to and from sites.
- A full clean drivers licence
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to think fast in difficult situations
- The ability to work as part of a team
